We popped a quiz up in our stories with some questions about each of us just as a fun way for you to get to know us a bit more. Even though you may see our faces on here almost daily social media can feel a little impersonal. So here’s some background about us and the answers to the questions:

• Sara has 6 siblings. Ciana has 4 and both have mixed families.

• Ciana studied Ornithology and Environmental Studies and teaching. Sara studied Psychology, drama and also teaching.

• Sara is a poet

• Ciana is a potter

• Sara has tattoos. Ciana has a phobia of needles so that’s not happening.

• Ciana loves trail running and all food but especially sushi. Sara gets her cardio shopping for @secret.threads_ and steaming racks of clothes

• Sara is a Light Summer. Ciana a Light Spring

• Sara was in a band.

• Ciana’s archetypes are Spirited, Classic and Dreamer. Sara’s are Dramatic, Creative and Dreamer.

Both have a serious love for fashion particularly sustainable and vintage and working with awesome people who want to discover more about their personal style!

Our clothes are an outward expression of our personalities, tastes, and environments. What feels right on one person will feel like a costume on another!

We often feel good in clothes that work for our body, our style and our colours. When one of these is off, we feel uncomfortable or costumey. Unlike ourselves.

Knowing these aspects of yourself makes it much easier to recognize what clothes you will keep wearing and will be a useful addition to your wardrobe vs what will end up in the 'never wear' pile!

We had the beautiful Emma from @gatherbyemma in the studio today for a colour analysis 🧡

It's always amazing to see the different ways the cool / warm comparison presents on people - with Emma it was a classic form we see with Autumns: cool colours make it look like a cloud has descended while the warm drapes flick the lights back on!

Have you heard of the 'vein test'? Don't bother! It doesn't work!

Here are three other things you can try in determining your undertone.
📣 Look at your freckles - goldie = warm, ashy or roses = cool.
📣 Gold vs Silver - silver more harmonious = cool, gold more harmonious = warm
📣 Home draping - choose a cool colour item and a warm then compare against you.

NOTE: These are not hard and fast rules but CAN be indicators. We all have a unique blend of colours, and if you are more neutral, it will be harder to see. We always recommend having a professional colour analysis to be confident in your season and subseason.
